Moodle 2.6 will soon be on its way to SMRT. We are just waiting for one or two of the plugins we use to be officially declared 2.6-ready and then we'll upgrade.

Probably the most noticeable change will be to the page editor - it's been simplified and cleaned up. The other great thing coming is the ability for staff to annotate homework submitted by PDF - you can make clear annotations, draw, use a variety of colours all on the PDF itself to provide effective student feedback. This can be done in the browser too, so no need to download the assignment and re-upload.
